The apartments come with a lockable bicycle shed, storage room and a private parking space as well as solar panels, underfloor heating and rainwater harvesting to ensure energy efficiency. The energy-efficient houses boast an energy level of maximum E20 and have a garden, a private car parking space and are heated without gas by means of a heat pump.
The residential neighbourhood is ideally situated in between the park and the city, with shops and schools nearby and with easy access to a bus stop and cycling paths. The project was designed with landscape integration in mind and comprises a large park and a dense network of walking and cycling paths. The residential district is low-traffic, with residential and play streets and underground parking for a number of occupants. The large park offers great experience value and the perfect environment to wind down.
A conscious choice was made to integrate the project in the landscape with preservation of the existing canals and the creation of wadis to achieve maximum infiltration. Building in a more compact manner created space for an 8-ha neighbourhood park. The result is the harmonious integration of the new residential neighbourhood in the existing landscape.
