Schools, youth and sports associations, health care institutions and shops are all within walking distance. Within this project Matexi developed a pleasant mix of different housing types, broad cycling and walking paths, a neighbourhood square and 2 public green spaces. Thanks to the wide variety of apartments and houses both young and old feel perfectly at home here. In total 116 residential units are available, roughly evenly divided between houses and apartments, embedded in a green setting. In addition to good access, this new neighbourhood also offers high experience value and a lowtraffic living environment. The aim of this project is to create a sustainable and innovative living environment with multifamily homes and semi-detached homes around green public parks in optimal interaction with the public space. Geothermal energy is used for heating, cooling and sanitary hot water. Energy is used with maximum efficiency via a collective heating network connected to an HCS installation. All houses and apartments have an E-level of 20 or less.
